Privacy Policy for ExpiryTracker
Last updated: 2026-04-19
Overview
ExpiryTracker ("the App", package com.myhome.expirytracker) helps you track product expiry dates.
This policy explains what data is processed and how.
Local Storage
The App stores your reminders locally on your device, including:
- item names, categories, and dates;
- notification preferences;
- optional item photos (if you attach them).
Advertising (AdMob)
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and usage data under Google's privacy terms.
In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The App offers in-app purchases/subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Purchase state is checked with Google Play to determine active entitlements.
Notifications
If enabled by you, the App uses local notifications to remind about upcoming or expired items. On Android 13+, notification permission is requested by the system.
Backup
Depending on Android system settings, app data may be included in backup/restore. Billing entitlement cache is treated separately and is not used as a trusted backup source of truth.
Third-Party Services
- Google Play Billing (payments/subscriptions)
- Google AdMob (ads)
Data Deletion
You can remove your data by:
- deleting items/photos inside the App;
- clearing app data in Android settings;
- uninstalling the App.
