Privacy Policy for Family Medicines

Overview
Family Medicines ("the App", package com.myhome.familymedicines) helps you organize family medicines, reminders, and related notes for personal convenience.
The App is informational only and does not provide medical advice.
This policy explains what data is processed and how.
Local Storage
The App stores your data locally on your device, including:
- family member profiles, medicine names, notes, and schedules you enter;
- reminder settings, intake history you log, and stock counts you maintain;
- notification preferences;
- optional medicine photos if you attach them.
Advertising (AdMob)
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and usage data under Google's privacy terms. Where required, the App may show consent flows (e.g. UMP) for ads.
In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The App may offer in-app purchases through Google Play Billing (for example to remove ads). Purchase state is checked with Google Play to determine active entitlements.
Notifications
If enabled by you, the App uses local notifications and alarms for dose reminders and low-stock alerts. On Android 13+, notification permission is requested by the system. Exact-alarm capabilities may be required depending on device policy.
Backup
Depending on Android system settings, app data may be included in backup/restore. Billing entitlement cache is treated separately and is not used as a trusted backup source of truth.

Data Deletion
You can remove your data by:
- deleting profiles, medicines, and photos inside the App;
- clearing app data in Android settings;
- uninstalling the App.
