Privacy Policy for Home stock

Overview

Home stock ("the App", package com.myhome.homestock) helps you track home inventory and quantities. This policy explains what data is processed and how.

Local Storage

The App stores your data locally on your device, including:

• item names, categories, quantities, thresholds, and notes;
• notification preferences and reminder time;
• optional item photos (if you attach them);
• shopping list entries when you use Premium.

Advertising (AdMob)

Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and usage data under Google's privacy terms. Where required, the App may show consent flows (e.g. UMP) for ads.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. Purchase state is checked with Google Play to determine active entitlements (e.g. Premium features).

Notifications

If enabled by you, the App uses local notifications for low or empty stock reminders. On Android 13+, notification permission is requested by the system.

Backup

Depending on Android system settings, app data may be included in backup/restore. Billing entitlement cache is treated separately and is not used as a trusted backup source of truth.

• Google User Messaging Platform (consent for ads, where applicable)

Data Deletion

You can remove your data by:

• deleting items / photos inside the App;
• clearing app data in Android settings;
• uninstalling the App.
